For this price, what else could you ask for?
Ngetis Resort is located in Jalan Danau Poso, in the southern part of Sanur. It is only a 10 minutes walk from the beach and you can find a fair amount of restaurants, other accommodations, convenience stores and supermarkets nearby.
The family that owns the Ngetis Resort does not live on the premises, but however remain on site on duty and come very frequently to clean the rooms, the garden, and so on. It is recommended to inform them of your check-in and check-out times with anticipation.
The place offers a total of 5 rooms. During our stay and according to the current exchange rate, the price per night was about €18.3 (IDR 300,000) for superior double or twin rooms and €22.9 (IDR 375,000) for deluxe double rooms. Each room has its own terrace. No extra bed can be added to the rooms.
Several services are free to use for guests: a kitchen (equipped with glasses, saucepans, cutlery, drinking water fountain, coffee, etc.), a small but pleasant swimming pool, a well-maintained garden and a WIFI network.
Our 20 m² superior double room was equipped with a large bed, air conditioning, a television, a fridge and net curtains. Inside, the private bathroom offers towels and soaps (however no shampoo), hot water and a large wardrobe. It is separated from the room with a sliding door, which has a mirror. Finally, you will find a drying rack on the terrace.
There is no breakfast included, but the kitchen is free to use and two small supermarkets are situated just a short walk from there to get some supplies.
What nights did we spend?
We slept very well in this resort: the bedding is very comfortable and the place is very quiet: no sound pollution in the area! The natural light slightly goes through the curtains, which could disturb some people.
We really enjoyed our stay here: the facility is really clean, the swimming pool is very pleasant, the place very quiet to sleep and the family was really caring for us: they added a mosquito repellent in the room (when we informed them of the presence of mosquitoes), the room was cleaned every day, and we enjoyed complimentary water bottles and fruits! We also appreciated the location, which is slightly less touristic than the large Jalan Danau Tamblingan.
We however regretted the slight lack of maintenance in the room (humidity marks and stains on the walls that had not been cleaned), the shower lacking pressure and the fact that the swimming pool was rather quickly in the shade. In other words, nothing unacceptable!
